PLEASE FOLLOW our fitting instructions to ensure good and safe fit of the suit on your Poodle.
very important to adjust leg elastics on the suit. Even if you think the elastics at a right length, please tie the knots tight! and CUT OFF the extra length,
- put the suit on your Poodle,
- tighten leg bottom elastics if needed. elastics should be tight enough to prevent “unsolicited” sleeve slide-off.
- let your Poodle walk, run on a leash (or in a small fenced area – so you can stop him if suit legs slide off, watch closely
to adjust bottom leg elastics just pull them and tie a knot. I do not put toggles on the legs as they can hurt a dog or be a target for another dog ![]()
when comfortable with adjustment, make sure the knot is tight.
How to put the suit on:
1. put the head in the snood (elastic on the snood can be adjusted using the toggle. you can cut off the excess of elastic, but make sure you leave enough length for the snood to go down on the neck. Sometime you don’t need the snood on the head.
2. put front legs in the sleeves
3. put back legs in the sleeves
4. zip up, watch the hair.
5. pull the coat a bit toward the head, same with the sleeves – pull them up a bit.
When worn for the first time, elastics at the bottom of sleeves has to be properly adjusted.
just pull the elastics to desired length and tie the knot. Let your dog walk and run in enclosed area – if suit’ leg slides off of the dog’s leg, elastics need to be tightened more.
When sure on the size of leg elastics, tie a tight knot, cut off the excess elastic or leave it as is.
To take the suit off follow the reverse order:
1. unzip
2. back legs
3. front legs
4. head
Enjoy the dry clean puppy ![]()
NEVER leave your Poodle unattended when wearing the Suit!!!!!!! Poodles are not born to wear Suits
Washing instructions:
Cold or warm water wash, mild detergent, rinse thoroughly. Hang dry, synthetic setting for ironing if needed. (tumble drying will damage the water repellent property).
The warm ironing will also revive the water repellent finish. To fully restore the water-repellent finish as needed suggest Nikwax products which are available at outdoor gear stores and the internet.
On the day-to-day basis, you can wipe the suit with a wet cloth.
